Welcome to the world of sound design! This handout is designed to be a beginner friendly introduction to the process of designing sounds, the creative process behind deciding what sounds to use and how to use them, and showcasing some of the core tools to become familiar and experiment with. By no means is this small document a complete overview of sound design, but hopefully it will demystify some concepts and give you the confidence to start designing sound for your own projects!
